Project Validation Report is underway
This venue was included in the Sport Venue Review and, based on the recommendations, is proceeding. Investigations will consider the option to increase the size of the venue.
The community centre will be suitable for a range of indoor sports and community uses, and may attract more events to the region. The centre will feature change facilities, amenities and functional spaces.
Brisbane 2032 use:
The Moreton Bay Indoor Sports Centre is currently earmarked to host the boxing events, with 7,000 seats, two temporary warm-up areas and boxing rings.
