This venue was included in the Sport Venue Review and, based on the recommendations, the previously proposed rebuild will not proceed. Modest enhancements of the existing facility will be undertaken.
The Gabba, known more formally as the Brisbane Cricket Ground, has been home to sport for 128 years including the AFL and Cricket games, and has hosted major concerts like Adele and Taylor Swift.
