Opened in 2017, the Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre hosted many events including the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and is the home to the AFL’s Gold Coast Suns. It is a multipurpose venue with two indoor halls, 15 multisport courts and continues to host a range of sports like basketball, netball, futsal, badminton. The centre is open daily to the community for sport, fitness and leisure activities, with state-of-the-art facilities and versatile meeting rooms and corporate event spaces.
